This module is not built yet. Ellicott's live beta produces right-of-way exhibits from parcel and easement data — ALTA/NSPS is a planned plat type under the Legal Plats module, and nothing on this page is available today. We're publishing the plan so the firms who need it can shape it.

Status

What exists today, and what doesn't.

We would rather be plain about this than let a roadmap page read like a product. Two of the pieces an ALTA/NSPS module needs are already working inside Ellicott; the ones specific to the standard are not.

  • Boundary geometry ingest, coordinate-zone detection, and pre-run data checks — working today
  • Generated metes-and-bounds legal descriptions — working, in the Legal Plats module now in development
  • Table A item selection and overlays — not started
  • Checks written against the 2021 ALTA/NSPS Minimum Standard Detail Requirements — not started
  • CAD (DWG/DXF) delivery of the finished exhibit — on the roadmap, not built

Closure and Table A completeness

Boundary closure checked, and any requested Table A item with no supporting data flagged, before a draft exists.

03 · Generate

Exhibit plus draft legal description

A survey exhibit and a matching metes-and-bounds description, generated from one validated dataset.

04 · Download

Package ready to route for seal

The exhibit, the draft description, and a branded report package for your surveyor to review, sign, and seal.
